Amuse Bouche: Cooking Inspirations – Client Experience and Culture Travels

Amuse Bouche NYC was created in 2016, by business and life partners Edward Rodwell and Anthony Mariano, with the vision of preparing the absolute best foods possible utilizing the freshest ingredients. The team’s dedication is to provide outstanding culinary experiences paired with precise planning and execution. For Edward and Anthony, every event is an inspired celebration which takes the diner on a journey with each bite. Menus are crafted with their customers first in mind, highlighting different cultures and deriving inspiration from fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Travel is by far the greatest inspiration for Chef Edward who has traveled extensively throughout the world. From Laos, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia in East Asia, to Bhutan, Rajasthan in India, the Gulf of Mexico, the U.S. and all over the great European continent, living and learning from the locals is key to Chef Edward’s culinary experiences and craftsmanship. Whether preparing whole grilled fish caught from the seas off the island of St. Barth or witnessing how to assemble savory spanakopita from the learned hands of a Greek homemaker on Paros Island, understanding the cultural origins of each ingredient and how to translate those ingredients into sumptuous dishes is sacred to Chef Edward’s approach to cooking.

Respect for the food, reverence for the cultural heritage and application of proper cooking techniques is what makes Amuse Bouche NYC catering and bistro stand out.

Future Events

Cocotazo

Chef Frances would like to invite more women to feel empowered at a brunch event she is hosting, in her words would be best –

“We started “Bad B**ch Brunch” with a small circle of women when we just so happened to all be moving up in our careers at the same time. When we would meet, we would bring in someone new we thought fit “the vibe” – someone who was looking to “get to the next level”. This Bad B**ch Brunch is a build on that. We are inviting women who are killin’ it in their careers to invite a younger woman (21+) who is looking to move up – or into a new one of her own!

We will kick off at 2PM on March 5th inside La Marqueta (our new home) and will be providing a spread of delicious food and complimentary wine. We have the amazing DJ Monday Blue setting the vibe !”

e.terra will be attending the NYC Hospitality Alliance’s State of the Industry Conference on February 27th! We will definitely share highlights in our next newsletter.

Book Recommendation

The e.terra team recently finished their monthly read of Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara (who was instrumental in taking Eleven Madison Park to the No. 1 Restaurant in the world) and it’s a 2 thumbs up! Inspirational book for any business or organization and we highly recommend.
