e.terra Kitchen was founded with a simple but powerful goal: to support the culinary community by providing production space, resources, and guidance for small food businesses, many of which are minority- and women-owned.
Our team is made up of food entrepreneurs, immigrants, and community-minded leaders who believe deeply in paying it forward. Creating opportunity, fostering growth, and showing up for our community are core to who we are.
In 2021, we formalized our commitment to community impact by launching ongoing volunteering and support efforts that allow our team to give back in meaningful, hands-on ways across Harlem and New York City.
Giving back is part of our culture. The e.terra team regularly supports initiatives focused on food access, nutrition, and community wellness throughout New York City.
Our efforts have included:
Preparing, packaging, and delivering meals for seniors and health-compromised adults
Supporting soup kitchens and community meal programs
Participating in large-scale food rescue efforts to reduce food waste
Working with urban farms to help provide fresh, nutritious food to underserved communities
We are honored to collaborate with and support organizations such as:
City Harvest
God’s Love We Deliver
Encore Community Services
Project EATS
Union Settlement
We’re proud of the community we’ve built and the impact we continue to make inside our kitchens and far beyond them. Our commitment remains rooted in service, equity and strengthening the food community we are honored to be a part of.
